Title IX Workshop Request Form

Thank you for reaching out to request a Title IX workshop!

We currently offer workshops on the following topics:

A. Title IX Basics: A required, policy-based workshop for university employees. This workshop will review current legal and institutional policies on sex discrimination as well as employee reporting duties. If you are requesting this workshop for your department, please complete this form. If you are requesting this workshop for yourself, please follow this link to see the current available Title IX Basics schedule: https://utexas.csod.com/ui/lms-learning-details/app/event/89f947c5-b3bf-4143-a450-77f6991aa6a1.

B. Are We Okay? Tools and Tips for Communicating Our Boundaries: This is an interactive workshop focused on setting and communicating boundaries and expectations. Includes interactive activities around physical, emotional, and personal boundaries.

C. In Her Shoes: This is an interactive workshop and works best in a group setting. In Her Shoes is designed for learning about domestic violence. Participants move, do, think and experience the lives of domestic violence survivors. This experience leads communities to shift their thinking about domestic violence and evolve their practices around what it really means to support survivors, hold those who cause harm accountable, and envision a world where violence and abuse don’t flourish as they do now.

D. The Supportive Measures Workshop: This is a workshop that was created out of the need to provide support to employees who are supporting students who have experienced sex discrimination and/or are participating in a Title IX investigation.

E. Title IX and Retaliation: This informative workshop takes a deep dive into Title IX policies around retaliation and provides guidance on how to address alleged acts of retaliation in the workplace or academic setting.

F. Trauma Informed Care. This interactive workshop focuses on the importance of trauma informed care. In this workshop, participants will learn what trauma informed care is, how our body responds to trauma, and how we can use best practices to support our campus community. Available for students, faculty, and staff.

G. Custom Workshop: Our workshops can be combined to provide a custom workshop tailored to the needs of your college, school, or unit.
