The purpose of this form is to inform the UK headquarters Awards Team of a locally made award decision.


This form is used to collect personal data about you and the individual being awarded. We take the obligation for personal data privacy seriously. The data you provide to us is handled and retained in accordance with our data protection policy. Details of successful awards will be uploaded to Compass. The UK headquarters Awards Team will also securely store (electronically) the details for 1 year from the end of the awarding process. Please complete the form below to submit a member for Chief Scout's Commendation for Good Service, Award for Merit or the Bar to the Award for Merit and Silver Acorn.


Chief Scout's Commendation for Good Service and Award for Merit can be approved by District Commissioners (and above).


Bar to the Award for Merit and Silver Acorn can be approved by County/Area/ Region (Scotland) Commissioners (and above).

Criteria

The person submitting the award decision must check the below boxes to confirm that the award receiver meets all of the following criteria:

If the nominee was previously awarded a Wood Badge for the same role as one of their active roles, Compass must be updated to reflect the training of the active role as being up-to-date.

Bar to the Award for Merit requires the nominee to have received the Award for Merit.
