Achieving Whole Health Application

The Achieving Whole Health: Balancing Body, Mind and Spirit (AWH) program is a wellness program that provides the tools and skills to help Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) make healthy decisions. The culturally-adapted curriculum is based on the Peer Support Whole Health & Resiliency and the Peer Specialist Core Recovery Curriculum developed by the Appalachian Consulting Group.


Apply to join this free program to learn about a whole health framework to promote emotional health and well-being.

• Participants will take an active role in improving their health by developing a Whole Health Goal focusing on one of the 10 life elements associated with the body, mind and spirit.

• Goals will be developed that have IMPACT – it improves their health, is measurable, is positively stated, is achievable, calls forth action, and is time limited.

• Participants will receive support through weekly peer groups and personal logs.


Who can participate?

The program is for AANHPI behavioral health and peer support providers. The program will be offered to 20 participants.

Program Commitment

The program includes 3 sessions to learn about the body, mind, and spirit; support to identify a health goal with IMPACT that focuses on one of the life elements, and skills to achieve the goal. Weekly check-ins offer support and encouragement.


Research shows that it takes at least 8 weeks to truly incorporate a life change. We ask participants to commit to attending the full program and engage in the peer support process.
