Lancashire FA Referee Course - Expression of Interest Form

We are delighted to announce that we will be delivering a number of FA Referees Courses throughout Season 2024/25 and we are now accepting expressions of interest via this form.


We are looking for dedicated and committed people who are regularly available to referee on our local youth & adult football leagues in Lancashire.


*You MUST be a minimum age of 14 years old to complete this form and be considered to enrol onto an FA Referee Course*

If you are under the age of 16, you are not eligible to Referee Adult Football.

Why do you wish to become a Referee?

I understand that by completing the form I am not guaranteed a place on a course and that this is an expression of interest only

Should my expression of interest be successful and I'm offered a course to book onto, I understand that reservations are made on a first come, first served basis

If the course I intended to book onto is full, I'm aware that my records / information provided on this form are kept on Lancashire FA's records, and should more courses become available in the future I will be contacted

I understand that if my expression of interest is successful and after reserving my place on the offered course(s) I will be expected to complete the following once they are sent to me:


  • Online Laws of the Game Module
  • Online Safeguarding Children Education
  • DBS check if aged 16+
  • Attend 3 Mandatory Training / Education Events (post-course)


Failure to complete these may put my position on any course and referee qualification in jeopardy.
