Georgia Tech Adventure Fee Waiver Application

Thanks to the generosity of a Tech supporter, Campus Recreation is able to waive fees for some students to participate in weekend adventure trips. Eligible students must meet one of the following guidelines:

  • Be a recipient of a recognized needs-based scholarship program at Tech like Clark Scholars, Deans’ Scholars--CoE, GT Promise, or Gates Scholars.

  • Be a Pell Grant recipient.

  • Have applied for the Adventure Fee Waiver and been accepted based on an endorsement from a GT faculty or staff.

Once your application is submitted, a member of the Fee Waiver Review Committee will contact you within 5 days to discuss next steps. You are encouraged to request a fee waiver in advance of registering for any trip if possible.

Once your request is approved, you will receive a code associated with your name that will allow you to register for trips without a fee. You must still register via the standard online process at https://mycrc.gatech.edu/. Registration for each trip opens at 8:00 a.m. on the published date approximately 1 month before the departure date. Opening dates for registration for each trip are published at https://crc.gatech.edu/adventure-trips/

By submitting this application, you are certifying that all information is true and giving permission for Campus Recreation to verify the information. When submitting this application, you must include your Financial Aid letter. Applications for the Adventure Fee Waivers have to be re-submitted each academic year.
