Once we receive your request, a Prior Learning Coordinator will reach out with the next steps (requirements, non-refundable fees, etc.).

You will be notified if you are eligible to challenge the course(s).

I understand that I can only challenge courses approved through Prior Learning Assessment.

I will need my academic advisor’s approval to challenge course(s)

I can only challenge courses aligned with my program of study field

I will meet the 25% residency requirement of credits required for my degree by taking classes at BC to satisfy residence requirements

I will pay a non-refundable $30 per credit fee (e.g., 3 credits = $90) once I am pre-approved by the PLA Coordinator

I will have to submit a Resume/Portfolio

I will have to provide work references from current or previous supervisors

I will submit all required documentation and pass all assessments to earn college credit on the first attempt. If failed, I must enroll in the course

I am aware that credits will appear on my transcript as "CR" - Letter grades are not awarded
