Summer Internship in Medical Education Application

Applicants must be University of Minnesota medical students in good academic standing who have just completed year one. Students from the Twin Cities and Duluth are encouraged to apply, however, the cohort will be based on the Twin Cities campus, with expectations for in-person engagement at approximately half of the sessions.


The program runs from July 1 - August 19, 2025 with required participation on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00-3:00pm (in-person and virtual). Interns will receive $2000 stipend for 15-20 hour a week commitment.


Applications will be reviewed by the Office of Medical Education beginning in March. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants will receive program acceptance no later than April 1.
