Media RSVP's for Public Program: Historically Speaking: We Return Fighting

In commemoration of Veterans Day, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture will host a public program on the museum’s latest book: We Return Fighting: World War I and the Shaping of Modern Black Identity. Prof. Greg Carr of Howard University will join curator Krewasky Salter for an evening book discussion on the World War I experience told through the lens of the African American veterans, military families, women, anti-war advocates and public intellectuals.
