Syngenta and its legacy companies have supported many charitable and civic causes in the Triangle area. Through our Community Grant Program, Syngenta focuses its corporate giving on local programs that support important needs in our community pertaining to agriculture and STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) education, hunger relief, nutrition, and water and land conservation.

Our Mission

The Syngenta Community Grant Program strives to provide meaningful funding to not-for-profit programs in our communities that help further the understanding and advancement of agriculture and its role in feeding a growing population while protecting the environment.

Our Objectives

Syngenta welcomes applications from organizations that will enable agriculture and STEM education, water and land conservation, and nutrition/hunger relief. Projects reflecting innovative approaches and solutions, thoughtful planning, long-term impact and the most educational value for dollars spent will be given priority.

Our Vision

Through our Community Grant Program, Syngenta wishes to reach out to as many community organizations as possible. With a global population on track to exceed 9 billion by 2050, Syngenta has a role to play—both globally and locally—to meet the increasing demand for food and education.
