Semester Exchange Study Plan

This is for programs commencing in Semester 1, 2026.


You cannot save and return to this form later, it must be completed in one go, so it's important that you have all the required information ready.


The form works on completion logic, as you complete one section, the next section will appear. You must submit eight (8) units for assessment; you will be unable to submit your form with less, regardless of how many units you intend to take on exchange.


Make sure you tick the 'Send me a copy of my responses' box at the bottom of the form before you submit so you have a record of your submission.

Your Details

Please ensure you carefully check that you have entered your details correctly as any incorrectly entered information may result in your application being delayed or rejected.

Must be an 8 digit number

ONLY use your official Monash email address - this ends with "@student.monash.edu"

Study plans submitted using a personal email address will be rejected.


Ensure you have typed your email address correctly. The study plan assessment system will send updates to you using the email address as you type it. Errors will mean you do not receive communications.

Heading

Enter your course code (letter followed by 4 digits - e.g. A2001 or S2006). Do NOT enter your course name. Check your WES if you are unsure.

If you have more than one major or specialisation, list them all.

If you have more than one, list them all. If you do not have a minor, put N/A.

You must ensure you select the same first preference host institution that you've selected in your Application for Overseas Study. Institutions that have been marked as 'Closed' in the Monash Abroad Program Search should not be selected from this list.


Independent Study Abroad students should choose the 'ISA' option (last on the list).

You will only take the equivalent of 18-24 Monash credits per semester on your exchange, however you must provide EIGHT units for assessment, to ensure that you have flexibility in your choices. Please note that full syllabi is required in order to assess a core equivalent. You will not be able to submit this form with less than eight units.

Create individual PDFs for each unit's outline/syllabus; do NOT merge multiple units into a single document.


Name each PDF using the following convention: Host unit code - Host unit name - Host institution name (e.g. 551NG2373 - Development Studies - Aarhus University)
