2025 IAVM Outstanding Volunteer Service Award Nomination Form


The IAVM Outstanding Volunteer Service Award recognizes one exceptional IAVM member whose contributions and volunteerism to the association is creating a positive impact and advancing the venue management industry and/or the association.


These contributions are displayed through their innovative approach, distinguished leadership, influencing industry thought and practice, setting new trends and paving the way forward for their IAVM chapter, community, region, sector, committee work, or their respective venues.


Through all of the work, the individual exhibits IAVM’s values of Integrity, Service, Safety, Education, Advocacy, and People First.


Nomination Criteria:


  1. Be a current IAVM member (including Allied).
  2. Be a current volunteer during the preceding August – present.
  3. Leadership & Initiative: Have shown initiative and leadership in one’s efforts.
  4. Commitment to Volunteerism: Have a significant depth of involvement with the association and/or venue management industry.
  5. Impact & Contribution: Have made an impactful difference to the association and/or venue management industry.
  6. Collaboration & Professionalism: Works effectively with peers, staff, and members to foster a positive, inclusive environment.
  7. Exhibits IAVM Values of Integrity, Service, Safety, Education, Advocacy, and People First.


Eligible Work:


All work that will be considered for this award is during the period of August 2024-present. This is not a “lifetime volunteerism” award, but is intended to highlight incredible work completed by an IAVM member during this specific time frame.



Submission Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by May 18th. No late nominations will be accepted.
