Travel Award Application

Limited funding is available at each Indiana LSAMP campus to support scholars in attending and present their research at professional annual meetings and conferences. Please review the guidance below to prepare and submit your student scholar travel award application.

PREPARING YOUR APPLICATION

Each Indiana LSAMP campus has a limited number of travel awards to allocate to their scholars each year. Interested scholars are strongly encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to receive the best rates on travel, registration, etc. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
This form may only be used for future student travel award requests. Travel that has already occurred will not be considered.
Interested scholars are encouraged to speak with their faculty mentor and/or LSAMP campus coordinator/director to determine conference opportunities that are a good fit for your research area and/or future career goals.
Before beginning your application, review and complete the Indiana LSAMP Student Travel Estimated Expenses Form to provide an estimate of travel expenses. In addition, complete and submit a copy of your Indiana LSAMP Travel Contract to your campus LSAMP Coordinator/Director. Both forms can be accessed on your campus LSAMP travel webpage.

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

Please complete all required sections of the application. Contact your campus LSAMP Coordinator/Director with any questions.

AFTER SUBMISSION

Applications are reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis by the individual campus project leadership. Please contact your campus LSAMP Coordinator/Director with any questions or if it has been more than 10 business days since application submission and you have not received a response.
