This form is for additional compensation for Graduate Assistants. Payments can only be made for work performed while a student has (or had) an active assistantship appointment.

Stipend Information

Please enter the amount per month that should be added to the student's stipend.


Ex. Start Date is 6/1/24, End Date is 6/30/24, Stipend Amount per month is 100 = $100 will be added to June check.


Ex. Start date is 6/1/24, End Date is 7/31/24, Stipend Amount per month is 100 = $100 will be added to June check, another $100 will be added to July check.


If this form is submitted after the End Date, the entire amount will be added as a lump sum to the next available check.

NOTE:

  • International students cannot work more than 20 hours/week while class is in session.
  • Domestic students need permission from the Graduate School to work more than 30 hours/week while class in session.
  • All students can work up to 40 hours/week during breaks.

Approvals

Enter @maine.edu email addresses of approvers and confirm valid email addresses prior to submitting the form. It is not required to enter four approvers.


You do not need to add the Grad School as they (Allyson Davis) will receive a separate approval request after all of the approvers entered below have approved.

 
 
 
 
 

Submission

Payroll requires all forms to be submitted by the 15th of the month, which means that all approvers need to approve prior to that date to allow the Graduate School to process it in time.
