Poster Abstract Submission


FDA/MDIC are pleased to provide this opportunity for various stakeholders in the medical device computational modeling and simulation (CM&S) ecosystem to showcase their work and engage with the conference attendees through our POSTER sessions. We invite poster abstracts for CM&S topics across the total product life cycle of medical devices that contribute to regulatory science, including the following areas:


  • Basic science (anatomical and/or physiological) modeling to support determination of design requirements, use conditions, etc.
  • Modeling and simulation to support concept development and rapid evaluation
  • Manufacturing optimization through modeling and simulation
  • Modeling applications intended for direct support of regulatory decision making
  • In silico clinical trials
  • Software as a medical device
  • Verification and validation studies in support of model credibility for medical device applications

Selected authors will be notified via email by: March 1, 2024


There is no fee to submit an abstract but presenting/participating authors must register to attend the conference. Early bird presale registration is available till February 29, 2023 with coupon code MODSIM2024. Visit www.mdic.org/ModSim2024 for agenda and registration information.


Program committee decisions on screening and selection of poster abstracts will be final. We may have to decline meritorious proposals due to the size limitation of the conference venue.
