Online Support Session

Cumberland FA are hosting an online support session on how clubs can provide better experiences for children who have Autism and/or ADHD on the 24th February 2022 at 7pm.

This session will be open to Club Welfare Officers, Club secretaries, Coaches, Managers and Assistant coaches. Shelley Crowe (Inclusion Lead at Mayfield School, Whitehaven) will lead the session and provide information and tips including :


  • How to prevent ‘sensory overload’
  • Appropriate communication advice
  • What ‘triggers’ to look out for that a child is becoming frustrated
  • What conversations to have with parents to best understand their child
