Our funding is only available for certain areas of Clark County. We will contact you with your eligibility and more information. You can also refer to our eligibility map.

Email poopsmart@clarkcd.org or call (360) 859-4848 with questions.

We fund two categories of maintenance/repair in specific areas of Clark County:

  • Septic Inspection, Pumping, and Minor Repair - Reimbursement up to $130 for septic inspections and up to $1,000 for pumping or minor repair.
  • If paying out of pocket for maintenance is a barrier, we can offer to pay your contractor directly instead of reimbursing you. Check with your contractor that this works for them; not all contractors accept direct payments.
  • Terms and conditions: link.

  • PROGRAM PAUSED - Septic Repair/Replacement - Full or partial funding for major septic system repairs or replacement, up to $20,000 per system. Note: this funding is prioritized for applicants who demonstrate financial need and meet environmental criteria.
  • Sign up here to indicate interest in the program and be notified when an application period opens. For urgent funding needs, please contact a different program via the Clark County Public Health financial resources page.
