Team-up on tackling energy and climate crises!



ASU undergraduates are invited to apply to attend a two-week immersive training at University of Central Florida.



Up to 8 students will be selected to explore What Is solar energy and how to harvest solar energy, and Why Is It So Important to a Green-Energy Future.

Training Details



Where: The training will be held on the campus of the University of Central Florida.



When: May 12th through May 23rd 2025.


• May 12th -May 16th on ASU campus


• May 19th-May 23rd as University of Central Florida



What you’ll learn and do:


• Hands on experiments making and testing solar cells


• Principle of how solar energy is harvested, and

transported and the role of perovskite material in solar devices


• Synthesize perovskite by a solution method


• Characterize the materials properties


• Assemble solar cells


• Testing the performance of solar cells


• Construct perovskite/silicon tandem solar devices


• Tour key facilities at University of Central Florida



Who: Undergraduates majoring in STEM interested in careers in

the clean energy field where they can make a real difference in

the world. Housing/meal/transportation/stipend will be

provided!
