TCU/Stacks Properties Incident Report
Thank You for Visiting Our Page
We appreciate you taking the time to visit our page. Before submitting an incident report, we highly recommend reviewing the FAQ section of our website. This section contains valuable information about what we can and cannot do regarding our properties, and it often addresses many common questions from reporting parties.
Our Commitment
At Stacks Property Services, we genuinely care about our properties, our tenants, and everyone impacted by our properties and tenants. However, there is often a misconception among the public about the extent of our authority under Texas law. Just as you have rights as an owner or tenant, our tenants also have rights that we must respect.
Setting Higher Standards
We strive to maintain standards that exceed those of other landlords. To learn more about the unique services we provide, please refer to the FAQ section linked above.
Purpose of the Incident Reporting System
We want to assist you as much as the laws of Texas allow. This is why we have established an incident reporting system for non-tenants affected by our properties. If you believe it is important enough to file a report, we ask that you provide accurate and complete information. Inaccurate or incomplete reports may lead us to conclude that the incident is not significant enough to warrant our attention, resulting in the case being closed as "Not Sustained."
Importance of Accuracy
If the matter is important to you, please ensure that the information you provide is accurate. This allows us to conduct a thorough investigation. Conversely, if accuracy is not a priority for you, we may not consider the incident worthy of our resources.
Concerns About Retaliation
If you fear retaliation and feel compelled to withhold accurate information, we understand. You have the option to remain anonymous when filing your report. However, please note that while we will still investigate based on the information provided, you will not receive feedback on our findings or the resolution of the incident.
The Value of Transparency
We believe in the principle of "innocent until proven guilty," as well as the right to face one’s accuser. Our owner, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, is committed to these constitutional values. We find that putting a face to the accuser can foster understanding and growth, especially among younger tenants who may be inexperienced or unaware of their impact on others.
Be Part of the Solution
By engaging professionally in these situations, you can help tenants learn and grow into responsible citizens. Your experience can serve as a valuable lesson for them, guiding them toward better behavior and citizenship in our community.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to working together to create a positive environment for everyone involved.
