Our Advancement Ambassadors are a spirited group of students, alumni, community members, and employees of Salem State University (SSU) who are passionate about advocating for support of the university's needs.

The Advancement Ambassadors bring awareness for the campaign and strengthen the reputation of the university within their own organizations, communities and personal networks.

As an advancement ambassador, you will have priority access to important university announcements, and you will be eligible for gifts, prizes and complimentary access to annual Salem State events. In addition, resources like graphics and sample social media posts will be provided for you.

Here is what is involved:

• Post, share and promote Salem State's Meet the Moment™ comprehensive campaign and Viking Warrior Day, our annual day of giving, to your personal and professional networks.
• Attend and promote university events and encourage others to join you!
• Inspire and educate others by sharing your SSU journey and investment in SSU.
• Attend a live or recorded on-demand one-hour training session to learn where to access your resources and tools.

If you are looking for a simple way to volunteer and give back, being an advancement ambassador is right for you. We have found that peer-to-peer outreach is the number one way to inspire people to give back to Salem State.
