Norris Technical Services AV Rental Request Form

Please fill out the form below to request a rental of AV equipment.. We do ask for 3 business days' notice to book our equipment. While we will work to accommodate requests with less notice -- we are not always available to do so. All rentals are self service - No delivery, setup, or operation is provided at this time.

This form is to request AV equipment, for use outside of Norris University Center. This includes outdoor events.


  • This form should be submitted a minimum of 3 business days prior to your event. Norris Technical Services staff typically will respond to all requests within 3 business days.
  • Rental requests are not confirmed until you have received a reservation confirmation detailing the equipment and pricing. If you have not received that, please do not assume we can support your event.
  • At this time, we are unable to provide delivery or full-service support in spaces not run by Norris. If requesting equipment for an outdoor event or other campus venue, you will need to pickup and setup the equipment yourself.
  • AV equipment rentals are only available for use on Northwestern property at the Evanston campus. For Chicago campus, check with your department for services or preferred vendors.

Please let us know what your event needs are and we will let you know how our staff can best assist to meet your needs. By default, we will provide the best equipment for your application. But if you have budget restrictions, feel free to note that below. Our prices are fixed, but we will do our best to suggest options that fall within your budget.
