Public Liability Insurance

All vendors are required to provide a digital copy of their Public Liability Insurance (PLI). The Certificate of Currency must be in the name of the applicant, noting Gympie Regional Council as an interested party and cover the scope of the activity. The level of cover must be a minimum of $20,000,000.

Environmental Sustainability

Gympie Regional Council is committed to reducing waste and implementing eco-friendly practices at events. As part of Queensland's plan to tackle plastic pollution, the supply of the following single-use plastic items is banned at events to help minimise waste and protect our environment:

straws and stirrers
cutlery, including knives, forks, sample tasting spoons, chopsticks, etc.
bowls and plates
expanded polystyrene takeaway food containers and cups
plastic shopping bags which do not meet new requirements
