Open Call :Conference Program Committee

Once a year, AIHA invites members to apply for a position on the Conference Program Committee (CPC), responsible for ensuring high-quality content and speakers at AIHA Connect. The CPC plays a key role in creating a dynamic education program, providing OEHS professionals with the scientific and practical information they need to enhance workers' health and well-being.

The CPC includes 14 members from diverse OEHS practices, each serving a three-year term. Members are selected to ensure balance across:

Industry sectors (corporate, academia, consulting, government/military)
Career stages (early, mid, late)
Geographic regions
Areas of specialty

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate:

Leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills
Fair and transparent review abilities
Commitment to deadlines
Experience as an AIHA volunteer

Commitment

Active AIHA membership in good standing
Prior service on a technical committee, local section, or volunteer group
High availability September–November
Peer review and ratings for session, pop-up, and student poster proposals throughout the year
Attend AIHA Connect in-person.
Participation in review calls and in-person events at AIHA Connect
