2023 Town of Dillon TEMPORARY Permit Application
Please fill out the following online application for TEMPORARY permits such as: Banners, Feather Banners, Sandwich Board Signs and Temporary Tents. A Town staff member will contact you within two (2) business days after the application has been submitted. Town staff will review the application and determine if it is complete and email the applicant with next steps, additional materials required and the fee amount. Temporary Signs must be professionally printed on a durable material with grommets or other means for secure attachment. Temporary Banner Rules: Only (1) Sign is allowed per business Banner must be mounted on the building Maximum Display Time: 21 consecutive display days per Quarter (See Holiday Exception) Maximum Size Allowed: 24 square feet Temporary Feather Banner Rules: One (1) feather banner is allowed per business in a multi-tenant building Two (2) feather banners are allowed for a single tenant building Maximum Display Time: 21 consecutive display days per Quarter (See Holiday Exception) Maximum Size Allowed: 36 square feet Maximum height: 18 feet and banner must have a weighted base HOLIDAY EXCEPTION: allows for up to 28 display days when the display period contains a Town recognized holiday.
Temporary Structures require permitting with Summit Fire & EMS and may also require Summit County Building Inspection Department Permitting.
