Our Mission and Vision: The Center for Advancing Rural Health Equity (CARHE) works to make sure that people living in rural areas have the chance to live healthy lives, by learning and acting together. We envision everyone living in rural communities having the chance to thrive, feel safe, and be welcomed.

Values and Core Principles: We value commitment, action, respect and humility. We strive to be inclusive, transparent, accountable, good stewards of resources, and co-creating the best solutions through shared leadership with partners and the wider community.

What We Don’t Do: We do not lobby on behalf of any political party or specific piece of legislation. Periodically we provide project support in the form of funding and/or project management. Please check our website for information on upcoming opportunities.
