Flourish Initiative: MSW Practicum Support Application

The Flourish Initiative is pleased to partner with Veterans United Home Loans to offer financial support and learning plan special-project support during select MSW practicum experiences!



For Summer 2023 MSW Practicum Students

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on April 3, 2023. Brief interviews with eligible candidates will be scheduled for the week of April 10 during business hours.

Priority consideration will be given to students who:

  1. are willing to practice locally for 3 years after graduation serving under resourced youth and families with mental health services.
  2. complete field experience at the following sites OR whose field experience aligns with the Flourish Initiative mission to serve under resourced youth and families in Boone County.

  • Crowned Counseling
  • Flourish Initiative



Practicum Experience Duties:

  • Must fulfill program requirements as determined by program
  • Provide 1 life skills class to residents at the Flourish Home



Eligibility:

  • Enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Social Work
  • Student of Color
  • U.S. citizen by April 2023
