2024-2025 Application

The Rising Leaders Initiative (RLI) by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is a one-year advocacy training program for high school students who attend charter schools. It was designed to inspire student engagement in education advocacy and cultivate the next generation of young leaders who will actively shape education policies in their local communities and states. By providing students with the tools and resources they need to become effective advocates for choices in public education, we can create a brighter future for all students.

About the Application Process:

The Rising Leaders Initiative aims to identify and choose talented students from diverse backgrounds who are strongly interested in actively participating in local education policy-making decisions and are committed to serving others. Each application is thoroughly evaluated by two members of the selection committee using a holistic approach.
