Exclusion Appeal Form

A person whose action has resulted in an exclusion from a Scenic Rim Regional Council facility may apply to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a review of the decision.

In order for the appeal to be considered the following must be met.


1.The appeal application must be made within 14 days of the exclusion taking effect. (However, the CEO may extend the time for making a review application.)

2.The Appeal application must be lodged via:

  • By Email to integrity@scenicrim.qld.gov.au
  • By Post to the Chief Executive Officer, Scenic Rim Regional Council PO Box 25 Beaudesert Qld. 4285

3.The appeal must include the following information;

  • a statement of the grounds on which the applicant seeks an appeal of a decision;
  • The reason you believe the decision was incorrectly made; and
  • supporting information to enable the CEO to decide the application.


APPEAL DECISION: A review of the original decision will be done within 28 days of receiving a properly made Exclusion Appeal Application. The decision will:

  • confirm the original decision
  • amend the original decision
  • substitue another decision for the original decision

Advice regarding the outcome of the appeal will be provided to the applicant within 3 business days after the decision is made, and will state the reasons for the CEO's decision.
