Wilson Tool International has a long record of successful innovations that have resulted in launching new products and services now in the marketplace. From new products and materials to new technologies or new uses and improvements to existing products, we welcome input from inventors and those with ideas.

If you would like to submit your idea for review, and are NOT employed by Wilson Tool please read and sign the Idea Submission Agreement, and then continue to the submission form. The form has space for you to provide information about your idea. You may also include attachments, printed drawings/exhibits, etc. as supporting information.

If you are an employee of Wilson Tool you do not need to complete the Idea Submission Agreement.

Ideas and creations may be considered intellectual property, and they may be valuable.

An idea for a new product, service or an improvement to an existing product or service and creative materials, may be considered intellectual property, and it may be valuable. Therefore, we require that you understand and agree to our Idea Submission Agreement before you submit your idea.

Wilson Tool will only consider your idea on a non-confidential basis.

You should only provide information that you are willing to allow Wilson Tool to use without any restriction, or expectation of compensation or confidentiality. By submitting your idea, you assume neither a confidential relationship with us nor a guarantee of secrecy.

If your idea is not patented or patent pending, you should consider protecting it before submitting it to us.

Before disclosing your idea to anyone, we strongly encourage you to work with a patent attorney to assess the patentability of your idea and apply for patent protection if your idea may be patentable. If you would like to learn more about the patent application process, you can refer to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office website (https://www.uspto.gov), the European Patent Office (https://www.epo.org/en) or the official patent office website in your country.

If you disclose an inventive part of your idea to Wilson Tool before filing for a patent, you may lose certain rights.

Protection of your idea is important because the disclosure of an inventive part of the idea without an obligation of confidentiality - as is the case if you submit your idea to Wilson Tool - before filing for a patent may result in the loss of your ability to obtain a patent or other rights. Due to the complex legal issues that can arise, we suggest that you consult with a patent attorney for professional advice before submitting your idea to Wilson Tool.

Ideas may only be submitted through our online Idea Submission Portal.

Due to the intellectual property issues that can arise when ideas are not submitted in a controlled manner, we only accept ideas through our online Idea Submission Portal. Ideas submitted by any other means will not be accepted.

Please review and carefully consider our Idea Submission Agreement before proceeding to Wilson Tool's Idea Submission Portal.

WILSON TOOL IS NOT OBLIGATED TO KEEP YOUR SUBMISSION CONFIDENTIAL. You understand and agree that Wilson Tool is not obligated to keep as confidential any information or ideas you submit. If the non-confidential disclosure of your submission could cause you any losses or subject you to any kind of damages, do not submit your information or idea to Wilson Tool.

YOU WILL RECEIVE NO COMPENSATION. You understand and agree that no agreement for compensation is or shall be implied by the submission, receipt, consideration, evaluation, or use of your information or idea(s) unless expressly agreed to in a separate written agreement executed by an authorized representative of Wilson Tool.

WILSON TOOL IS FREE TO USE YOUR SUBMISSION. You understand and agree that Wilson Tool assumes no obligation with respect to any submitted information or idea and; unless your idea is patented, Wilson Tool shall be free to use, copy, modify, disclose, and distribute any information or idea in your submission for any purpose without restriction. Further, Wilson Tool's consideration of your submitted information or idea, or its subsequent entry into any discussions or negotiations with you, will not in any way impair Wilson Tool's right to contest the validity or infringement of any patent rights you may have, nor shall it be deemed as an admission of novelty, non-obviousness, or priority of any such patent rights.

WILSON TOOL IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO REVIEW YOUR SUBMISSION. You understand and agree that Wilson Tool is under no obligation to review or respond to your submission nor take any steps toward developing or commercializing your submitted information or idea.

YOU MUST CERTIFY THAT YOU LEGALLY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISCLOSE THE IDEA. You hereby certify that you legally have the right to disclose the idea, that you are not obligated by any other agreement to keep the idea confidential, and that you are at least 18 years old. You should be aware that if you developed this idea while working for an employer, they may own it and/or you may be required to keep it confidential, rather than disclosing it to Wilson Tool non-confidentially. Please check with your employer, if appropriate, to confirm that this is not the case.

NO RELATIONSHIP FORMED. You understand and agree that no confidential or consulting relationship exists or is established, expressed or implied, between you and Wilson Tool by submitting your idea.
