Recycling Refund Request for Past Customers

This form is for customers who were Clearwater Solid Waste customers anywhere from July 2022 to December 2022 and who no longer live in the city of Clearwater.


If you lived in the city of Clearwater city limits and were a Clearwater Solid Waste customer anytime from July 2022 to December 2022 and you no longer live in Clearwater, you may be entitled to a refund for recycling charges to your city of Clearwater utilities bill.


Only complete this form if:

  1. You have moved out of Clearwater city limits, and
  2. You were a utilities customer who received a utility bill from Clearwater Utility Customer anywhere from July 2022 to December 2022, and
  3. You think you might be entitled to a refund for recycling charges.


Please submit the form, and our team will look up your previous account to see what you paid for Clearwater recycling services. If a refund is due, a check will be mailed to you within 4-6 weeks. The recycling charge during this time was $3.38 per month on a resident's utility bill.


If you still live in the city of Clearwater and are a current recycling customer, do not submit this form. You don't need to do anything to receive your recycling credit. Credits for current customers will be in the form of free service, or not charging customers for recycling, for six months. Starting in October 2023, residents will not see this charge on their utility bills for six months.
