Before Youth Volunteers are permitted to serve on panels, they must undergo General Legal Training (“GLT”). GLT is an in depth training covering all aspects of the Teen Court process, the restorative justice principles of our program, as well as program expectations for the Youth Volunteers. At GLT, prospective volunteers will have a chance to ask questions about Teen Court and interact with current Youth Volunteers in the program.

Teen Court’s next GLT is scheduled for Saturday April 1, 2023. GLT will be held at the Lone Tree Civic Center, located at: 8527 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree, CO, 80124.

GLT is a 1-day training split up into 2 sessions. The morning session will begin promptly at 9AM and will go until 11AM. At this time, we will break for lunch (which Teen Court will provide). The afternoon session will begin at 12PM, and the training will be concluded by 2PM.
