Submit your proposal and CV/Resume as separate .docx files

FILE #1 – Upload a current (up to date) CV or Resume that includes your education, up to date employment history, and/or research conducted or in progress, publications, and/or volunteer work. While all industries have different standards for resumes or CVs, tips for writing a CV may be helpful.


FILE #2 – Presentation description: Should be a maximum of 500 words; should be a narrative describing your presentation and include the following:


  • Title: The title should be informative and pique interest and reflect the essence of your presentation.
  • Introduction: Introduce your topic, its relevance and significance to your field; in short, set the context for your proposal.
  • Objectives and goals: Clearly articulate what you aim to achieve.
  • Theoretical framework: For scholarly proposals, outline the theories or concepts that underpin your argument or research.
  • Methodology: Detail the methods used in your research, including how data were collected and analyzed.
  • Preliminary findings: If applicable, present the core results of your research (or the status of your work) or the principal arguments of your analysis.
  • Significance and contribution: Describe how your proposal advances the field, fills a knowledge gap, presents a new perspective, or discusses a problem of practice.
  • References: Provide a list of references used for this research study. Please follow the appropriate citation guidelines for your program.

Accepted proposals will be invited to present at the Virtual Research and Scholarship Symposium on May 2, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (EDT).

All accepted presentations will be

  • 15 minutes long
  • pre-recorded
  • submitted X weeks prior to the conference
  • with 10 minutes for synchronous/live Q&A following.

Researchers who accept the invitation to present will be asked to submit a 250-word (maximum) abstract and a 250-word (maximum) biography.
