Please fill out the form and upload the application document described below. Note that this form cannot be saved and submitted at a later date. All proposals will be reviewed for conformity with the application guidelines. Find the full RFP and Budget Template on the OVPRI website.

PI Eligibility

Eligible PIs are tenure-track faculty and career research faculty with the classification of research associate, research professor, research scientist, research engineer, principal research scientist, or librarian with 0.50+ FTE appointments during the academic year of the research award.

If a proposal has a team of investigators, please list one person as the Contact PI.

Most often begins with 95

Provide for all PIs:

  1. Name
  2. Rank
  3. Department (include joint appointments)
  4. Center/Institute Affiliations, if any

Please list all other members of the team. Include name, position/rank, and department(s).

Please provide the name of the business manager/grant administrator who will be managing the award.

UO is required to categorize all internally funded research activities as either basic, applied, or experimental.
