Annual Convening

Thursday, December 7 - Friday, December 8, 2023

We look forward to welcoming you in Bentonville this December for the network’s first in-person convening since the pandemic! This convening will feature an interactive session with Walmart business leaders, shared-learning spaces, breakout groups, and a chance to re-connect with your colleagues. If you are planning on attending this convening on behalf of your organization, we ask that you please complete this registration form by Friday, November 3, 2023.

To design an event that is fulfilling for everyone, we are asking 1 attendee from each organization to respond to this brief survey.

The responses will inform session topics and shared learning spaces. Please fill out the survey by Friday, November 3rd, 2023.

Agenda

Day 1: Thursday, December 7

2-5pm CST

The day will begin with an opening session, followed by an interactive session between RON members and Walmart business leaders.

Day 2: Friday, December 8

9am-3pm CST

The day will consist of a variety of learning sessions and breakout groups.

These timings are approximate. A more detailed agenda will follow closer to the convening. Please aim to book your flights accordingly so you’re able to attend all sessions.

Note: The agenda and timing of the RON Convening is being coordinated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Convening concluding on the 7th for those that plan to attend both.

The location for all convening activities is the DoubleTree Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Urban Institute has secured a special rate for grantees ($175 per night) who wish to stay at the DoubleTree Hotel during the convening.
