NG SCOUT training is provided by Cal OES and is mandatory to obtain access into NG SCOUT.


There are multiple Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) sessions. Please select one session from the following Training Schedule:

 

NG SCOUT Training Portal Access


Fill out this Training Request form to get access to NG SCOUT.


You will receive registration confirmation after successfully completing this form. You should receive a SEPARATE email before your scheduled training, with your LOGIN USERNAME and LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS.


You MUST make sure you can login and access the NG SCOUT Training Portal PRIOR to training start to avoid delays or possible cancellation of your training.


Prior to your training start, make sure you can LOGIN and ACCESS the NG SCOUT Training Portal. The goal is to ensure each person can login before to the training session.

Have a Wildland Preplan!

What's your current process for collecting and sharing preplan data? Is it working? Are you considering developing the WPP online?


If so, NG SCOUT has a Wildland Preplan (WPP) workspace available. Now you can develop the WPP on the NG SCOUT application.


We are gearing up to provide training on developing Wildland Preplan.


The Preplan layers has many feature types and even more information fields to collect information about added features.


The best part about all of this is that this training and hosting of your Wildland Preplans would be at no cost to your agency.
