Wildfire and Forestry Assistance

Please fill out the following form and a Clark CD staff will reach out about scheduling a site visit for the assessment. Due to limited funding, Home Ignition Zone Assessments only take place in high priority areas and Forest Management Plans require a minimum acreage to be eligible.

If you have questions about tree health, please attach photos or refer your questions to a local arborist.

Due to limited funding, full forest management plans require a minimum of 5 acres of forest land to be eligible. The home counts as one (1) full acre so the total property must be 6+ acres.

In order to be eligible for a home ignition zone assessment, you must live within the Wildland Urban Interface (Orange, Red, or Green areas om this map). This area is mapped by Washington Department of Natural Resources here:

We encourage residents to build resiliency through community efforts. If your neighbors have also expressed interest in preparing for wildfires, we would be happy to schedule multiple site visits on the same day.
