Project LEAP

The Intertribal Agriculture Council with support from the Newman’s Own Foundation and our expansive network of partners, hope to encourage youth to LEAP into the world of agriculture and engage with their cultural knowledge empowering the next generation of Indian agriculture.

In order to sustain Indian agriculture, which translates into Tribal food sovereignty and economic sustainability, the next generation of food and agriculture producers need support to grow personally and professionally. Project LEAP will provide resources to Native youth to ease financial hardships associated with agriculture.

Awards to Native youth will be up to $500.00 for projects and opportunities relating to agriculture, natural resources, and food systems.
