Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship Application

Applications are due by 11:59pm CST on March 15, 2025.

Applications that are missing any required information or documents will not be considered for the award. Please do not submit your application until you have all the required documents ready to upload.

General Information:

  • Scholarships will be awarded at a minimum of $1,000.
  • Scholarships are awarded for 1 year. Payment will be made directly to the college/university, upon proof of enrollment, for the Spring 2026 semester.
  • Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation Scholarships are provided through contributions received by the Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation.

Basis for selection of scholarship recipients:

  • Applicants must meet scholarship criteria.
  • Applicants must be a high school senior or college student.
  • Applicants must have a "C" or higher GPA (unless specified by scholarship account).
  • Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enroll full time in a college or university that offers a bachelor's degree; an approved vocation or trade school; or a state accredited junior college. Preference will be given to students attending a Nebraska institution of higher learning and preference will be given to students majoring in an agricultural field of study (unless specified by scholarship account).
  • Scholarships are awarded on the basis of: academic achievement, beef industry involvement, goals, and overall quality of application.
