Construction (New/Renovation/Demolition):
Request for Assessment - Hazardous Materials/Water Quality
Federal, State, and Local regulations require an assessment of building and construction materials prior to disturbance in order to protect workers and the public from potential exposure to hazardous materials. Examples of such hazardous materials that may be disturbed during construction activities include, but are not limited to, asbestos, lead, silica, tritium exit signs, etc. Disturbance of these materials can occur during new construction, renovation or demolition activities, or even during carpet removal, suspended ceiling replacement, wall rack installation, or responses to water intrusion events.
Similarly, potable water lines must be assessed after disruption to ensure that the safety and quality of the water are suitable for use and consumption.
Complete and submit the online form. You will be contacted by the appropriate Subject Matter Expert to coordinate/schedule the assessment.
