Reach For the Stars Application

This is an application for the Reach For The Stars program, which covers the cost of a field trip, including the cost of bussing, to the Mt. SAC-Randall Planetarium in Walnut, California. A field trip to the planetarium is 2.25 hours long and includes a planetarium show of your choice and our hands-on rocket activity (does not include the cost of pack lunches). There are several planetarium shows to choose from about different astronomy topics; some shows are even aligned with the state core curriculum. Then during the rocket activity, your students will design and build their own rockets and see them fly. Well-built rockets can go well over 100ft high! Schools determined to have the most need and who will make the most of this opportunity will be selected for this program. Please fill out the application below to be considered (only one application per school) by the deadline November 27, 2024
