Training for Early Child Care Programs and Agencies

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is funding Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) training for programs in underserved areas without access to local DRDP trainers. This training opportunity is specifically geared towards licensed family child care homes, though also available to others, including center staff, based on availability.

Training Overview

Type: In-person teacher training

Funding: Fully funded by CDSS

Duration: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Materials: All training materials will be provided at no cost

Support: WestEd Staff will facilitate the training.

Cost: Free, funded by CDSS

Stipend: A $100 stipend will be available for qualifying participants

To be eligible for this stipend, attendees must meet the following criteria:

Have not received any funds from your company to attend the program

Did not attend during paid work hours

Are not receiving stipends from a local and/or county organization for your time and attendance
