AMSA IFMSA Representative Application

Application Deadline: April 6, 2025


IFMSA Representative applicants must be an AMSA member. Medical student applicants will be given priority for coordinator positions.


The following documents are required to complete the application process:


  • CV/Resume
  • Personal Narrative
  • Letter of Good Standing from your institution
  • Signed AMSA Leadership & Volunteer Agreement

Personal narratives, resume/CVs and campaign video will be posted on the AMSA website. As a result, please be sure to remove all contact information including phone numbers and addresses from these documents prior to submission.

CV/Resume

In order for your application to be complete, you must attach your CV/Resume.

Personal Narrative

To complete your application, please attach a personal narrative (maximum 1,000 words) detailing your qualifications, interests, and alignment with the position. Your narrative should address the following:


  • Interest in the Position: Explain what specifically excites you about this role and your motivation to apply.
  • Goals and Vision: Outline what you hope to achieve if elected to the position.
  • Relevant Experience: Highlight your qualifications, including experiences within AMSA or other organizations, that demonstrate your readiness and suitability for the role.
  • Connection to AMSA: Share why AMSA is meaningful to you and how it has influenced your journey.

Letter of Good Standing

To complete your application, a statement of good standing from your institution is required.


Please indicate whether you have attached the statement to this application or if you are in the process of obtaining it from your institution. Statements of good standing may be submitted directly to operations@amsa.org at a later date; however, please note that your application will not be processed until the statement has been received.

AMSA Leadership & Volunteer Agreement

To complete your application, you are required to review, sign, and upload the "AMSA Leadership & Volunteer Agreement." This document can be downloaded by clicking this link.

Campaign Video

To complete your application, you must submit an one minute video by email to operations@amsa.org.

Multiple documents can be uploaded at one time. Resume/CVs, Leadership Agreement, Letter of Good Standing & Personal Narrative can be combined into one document. Please send any required documentation not included with this application to operations@amsa.org.
