Contracted instructors for adult programs are paid based on a 60/40 split. Instructors receive 60% of program fees for enrollment calculated at the resident (base) rate.


Instructors for youth programs are paid on a 80/20 split. Instructors receive 80% of program fees for enrollment calculated at the resident (base) rate.

Program fees are determined by the department and are based on factors including but not limited to:

  • level of engagement
  • level of instruction
  • level of community vs. individual benefit
