Technical information

You may provide just the basic information tailored to your event, especially if you are planning a small sound system.

a) Describe the proposed amplified sound equipment, Include stereos, AV equipment. Please list all devices and their specifications; and

b) Provide rated output of sounds, e.g. the maximum wattage and number of speakers and the frequency range characteristics of each speaker (i.e. deep base, base, mid-range, treble); if available please provide as sound power levels

Include number, location, height and orientation of devices and speakers, and distance from the nearest residential boundary etc

The map must show:

1) the positioning of speakers close to the ground, especially bass speakers,

2) the orientation of speakers away from residential boundaries,

3) the orientation and positioning of stages to minimize on-stage noise.

4) the impacted nearby residents/streets who will receive a letter

Describe how the amplified sound will be managed and what noise control measures will be used to reduce the impact of noise during the event, e.g. are you able to measure the sound level at the nearest residential boundary, are you able to adjust volume and/or reduce impact of bass levels quickly if complaints come in, where you will record received complaints, etc.

Describe other sound amplification or sound generation system and/or devices such as vehicles, aircraft, generators, stationary engines, alarms and sirens, explosive devices (such as fireworks and other pyrotechnics, starting pistols, etc.). If not applicable, write N/A.
