It is requested that there be a minimum of one chaperone per every five children to help ensure the safety of all participants. Engine visits or station tours may be canceled at the last minute with no notification due to emergency response or firefighter training requirements. Please note that all dates are subject to availability.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT accept any PSRs from November- January 4. Any PSRs requested within this time will need to be two weeks after January 4. Any request within the above time frame will be denied.
An engine visit: requests an engine go to a specified location for an event.
A station tour: a tour of one (1) of Tacoma's fire stations.

Engine visits can be requested every day of the week excluding Sundays and Holidays.
Station Tours can be requested Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Please note that station tours will not be longer than 20 minutes.
Ex. Health & Safety fair, Block party, etc.
Enter N/A if no children will be present. TFD also recommends a 5:1 ratio of Children:Adults for the safest experience.
Ex. Safety presentation, Fire Department presence only, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: Although TFD tries to fulfill all requested participation, it just may not be able to happen, but we strive to make sure your experience is as enjoyable as possible.
