Tell us about your dashboard and request

Please note we will need your updated pbix file of your dashboard to be uploaded to the STAGING folder online in OneDrive as it was done when it was first moved to PROD into a Premium workspace. Once in STAGING we will pick up file from there and publish to PROD / applicable premium workspace.

Is your dashboard ready for TESTING and validation?

If YES, we will upload your pbix file to the UHD TEST workspace in Power BI. This is a premium workspace so that users who don't have a Power BI Power license and only have a PBI General license will be able to access. If your user(s) who will be testing don't have a PBI license, please ask them to fill out a form to request a PBI General license (link included above). Once this request is assigned, the PBI Support tech will inform you on where to share your pbix file so they can upload it to the UHD TEST workspace.

*Also, a distribution group will be created so that dashboard owner can manage access to the dashboard in TEST and eventually in PROD too. Please note this can take a few days to set up with the UHD Active Directory team.

Is your dashboard ready for PRODUCTION?

Note: If it doesn't already have one, as part of moving a dashboard to production a distribution group will be created so that dashboard owner can manage access to the dashboard. Please note this can take a few days to set up with the UHD Active Directory team.

Note: If you will also need assistance with setting up location to store data source files and to set up data syncs for dashboard automatic refresh along with setting up distribution group so that you can manage the access to the dashboard, this can take several days to complete. Please consider this work when entering a desired date to have your PBI dashboard in PROD.

Please note below the name(s) of the existing PBI data flows you would like to make minor enhancements to -- if it requires many enhancements, this will needed to be submitted as a regular project via the IT Dev/ ATS Project Request form (link included above). Also, please note below the data changes you would like to make to the PBI Data Flow

If this is a new PBI data flow small request, please note below the data elements you would like included. If this is to be a large data flow, this will need to be submitted as a regular project via the IT Dev / ATS Project Request form (link included above).


Requesting access or Remove access to a Dashboard

To get access or remove the access of a user to any of the PBI dashboards, please contact the dashboard owner.


Please note to access a dashboard in addition to the dashboard owner granting you access you require a PBI license (either a PBI General or PBI Power user license). If you don't have a license, please request one (link included above on this form).
