Event Sanctioning Application

All events must be sanctioned by Northumberland FA prior to kick off and will only be sanctioned if the games are being officiated by an affiliated referee. It is the responsibility of the event organiser to submit an Event Sanctioning Application. You must have risk assessment in place before the game takes place

Sanctioning takes place 9am - 4.30pm Monday – Thursday, 9am-3pm Friday. Due to the volume of sanction requests you must submit your sanction at least five working days before the event.

You will receive a confirmation alert when your event has been sanctioned. In circumstances where the match(es) involves one or more youth teams, you are asked to additionally acknowledge and confirm the following: We shall fully comply with The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policies and Procedures - http://www.thefa.com/football-rulesgovernance/safeguarding;
