Houston Community College (HCC) and Sam Houston State University (SHSU) are proud to announce the launch of the Agricultural Sciences Academy, made possible through funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Agency.

The SHSU/HCC Agricultural Sciences Academy welcomed its inaugural cohort of students in the fall 2024 semester. The Academy offers students the opportunity to co-enroll at HCC and pursue one of the following Bachelor of Science tracks in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at SHSU:

Agricultural Business Track

Agricultural Engineering Technology

Animal Science – PreVet Medicine

Animal Science

Interdisciplinary Agriculture [Agricultural Education]

Plant and Soil Science
