The Automated Debt Review Dispute and Clearance Subscription Service Registration is Free and Non-Obligatory.


You will receive assessment determination whether the debt review process was lawfully conducted or if there are any irregularities and/or non-compliance issues. Once you receive your assessment outcome, you can decide to activate your preferred Subscrition Plan.

About Your Debt Review

This information is important for proper assessment of your debt review situation and to determine the appropriate clearance action. Ensure that your answers are truthful and not contradicting each other. Any contradictions will cause the system to reject your assessment.


E.g. You cannot say you signed documents in one question and in the next you say you never applied for debt review.


With all due respect, to put it blantly, you cannot give false information in the questionnaire.

How Did the Debt Review Flag Placement Happen?

Form 16 is a debt counselling application form. This is a compulsory form that a consumer must sign before the debt counsellor can begin the debt review process. If you did not sign this form, the debt review is unlawful.

The debt counsellor can only conduct assessment when you have supplied them with ID, Payslip and Accounts Statements. If you did not submit any of the above, the debt review flag is unlawful.

This is a repayment proposal that the debt counsellor submitted to credit providers for acceptance. Before submitting to the credit providers you should have agreeed to the new installments.

A court order is mandatory in a completed debt review process. Where there is no court order after 60 days of applicaton, the debt review is unlawful.

The debt counsellor must compile a supporting affidavit that you must sign in order to obtain a court order.for your debt review application.

Indicate whether you have cancelled the debt review process or the debt counsellor service. When you have cancelled the service the debt counsellor issues a Form 17.W

Debt Counselling Fees

Debt Counselling Fees Range from R3000 and may not exceed R9000 including court application fees. The fee can only be collected by the by the PDA in the first 2/3 months.

If you applied for debt review and you did not pay the debt counselling fees, please specify why.

  • If paid enter paid
  • If you did not apply enter N/A
  • Only the fees that were quoted by the debt counsellor.
  • Do not enter amounts debited or paid for your accounts.


The debt counselling fees range between R3000 and R9000 including court application fees. In the event that the debt counsellor did not submit the matter to court, you can claim reimbursment of the entire fee.

Debt counselling fees are paid to the debt counsellor through the appointed PDA. It is unlawful for the debt counsellor to collect any fees directly from the consumer.
