Synergy Board Readiness Survey

Do you have what it takes to be a board director? Are you board ready? We understand that individuals have different goals for their board journeys. Some are looking to give back through working boards while others are looking to govern and share strategic expertise on nonprofit boards and private paid boards. There is no one size fits all. To determine where you are at on your board journey, please answer the following questions for a quick self-assessment of your general readiness to be a board member. (Survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete)

Duration (number of years) in a senior leadership or executive role*
Level of Public, Private and/or Non-Profit board experience*
Completed circle of influence network mapping including personal, professional, and social networks for access points to board*
Proficiency in reading and evaluating financial statements analysis and understanding their use as a management tool*
I have strategic expertise and experience in areas that can add value to the right board*
I have autonomy over my schedule to accommodate board and committee meetings. 10 – 30 hours quarterly for Nonprofits and 40-90 hours quarterly for Fortune 500 (TSX) boards*
