LOCAL CREATIVE COLLABORATIONS

BONDI PAVILION ARTIST STUDIO

The Artist Studio is available for local creatives at all stages of their practice from emerging to established, interested in a small, flexible working space at the Bondi Pavilion.

We are offering a limited number of residency places throughout the year as part of our Local Creative Collaborations program.

Artists in the Studio will benefit from:

•    Fully subsidized studio space for visual artists and writers to further your creative practice at Bondi Pavilion.

•    Resident artists will be entitled to access to the studio for a block-booking with a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks

Applications are now open for 2025 opportunities and will close on Monday 30th June at 5pm. The studio will be available for residencies from Monday 4 August 2025 to Wednesday 31 December 2025.

Applicants should read the terms and guidelines for the program carefully before submitting. In addition to providing examples of artworks, applicants will be asked to provide a biography, list their expected outcomes for the residency, and to explain why the Artist Studio would be beneficial at this point in their creative practice.

We recognize locals as any Waverley Council resident or any creative with a demonstrable connection to the Waverley community.

The Studio is also available for hire at $196 per week. Registered not-for-profits or charities can access a 50% discount on the hiring rate. Please contact the Bondi Pavilion venue hire team to book the space directly: Venue Hire Enquiry | Bondi Pavilion
